Gay Marriage and the Religious Case for it
Lisa Miller wrote an interesting article summarizing the Bible’s take on gay marriage. I am never failed in emotion, or the lack their of, when it comes to the context of the scripture. In this written summary, I find so much that is against the law of simple reason - it amazes me. Better yet, the media has captured it and placed it onto the headlines with an endoresement in Newsweek.

Gates takes Questions...
As the seasoned Bob Gates took questions today, one thing was certain - he was calm anad understood his role within a new administration. Defense Secretary Bob Gates was reappointed by President Elect Barack Obama in what was considered by some a weak appointment. Keep the head where it is, but change all of the staff thus having a show piece rather a real leader. Gates did not agree.

Guantanamo...
In an effort to appeal to his pre-election rhetoric, Obama has released statements that he will shut down the prison camp in an attempt to remove the stigma the US has received from the rest of the world. The prison camp, currently holding several hundred of the most severe terrorist suspects has been under high scrutiny due to documented mis-conduct by its personal. So do we close it?

Shifty Bailout...
$700B, yeah that is the amount that the Congress voted for to sure up our declining financial system. When the bailout was proposed, people were voting for a specific agenda that was to be carried out. Specifically there was a call to purchase bad financial instruments to free up capital for banks to continue to lend. Thus returning the markets to some what normal and allowing business to operate...
